The following is for quick selling your collection. Basically, if you just want to sell off your collection and don’t need to discuss pricing, this is the route you go for. Please read everything before you send your collection to us.

We may refer to the act of you selling your cards as ‘buy’ or ‘sale’.

Please include a print out of the following:

Your ID (Driver’s license is fine. Please make sure there is an ID that matches your return address)

Your return address (in case of returns)

Your bank details/payid/paypal details

Your contact details (email and phone number)

Prices on Binderpos are not always accurate. For that reason, we may look at ebay sold prices and base the price of the singles accordingly.

This is the general pricing but may change depending on the card game and the popularity of the card.

If the sell price of the card is less than $1 then we buy them at:

Commons: $0.001 (If they are from a much older set or sort after, it can be up to $0.10)

Uncommons: $0.001 (If they are from a much older set or sort after, it can be up to $0.10)

Rares: $0.01 - $0.10 (If they are from a much older set or sort after, it can be up to $0.10)

 

If a card of any rarity is between $1 and $2, we pay $0.10 each.

 

For Magic the Gathering, this is the general pricing strategy:

More than $2 and less than $10, we pay 20% of our website’s prices

More than $10 and less than $50, we pay 30% of our website’s prices (subject to checking against other pricing indicators)

More than $50, we pay 40% of our website’s prices (subject to checking against other pricing indicators)

For indication to how our prices fare with others, 40% of our sell price is about 60% Card Kingdom (CK) usually. On the private market, majority of the people go 1:1. This means that for the comfort of not having to deal with lots of cards and actually getting rid of everything, you will get about 60% of CK unconverted for valuable cards (maybe more for staples and reserve list).

I may pay more for Modern and Legacy staples and the Reserve List cards. I am happy to negotiate on these as well. I am happy to also use other pricing reference, but not limited to, such as, Card Kingdom, Star City Games.

 

For singles other than MTG, this is the general pricing strategy:

If the sell price of the card is less than $1 then we buy them at:

Commons: $0.001 (If they are from a much older set, it can be up to $0.05)

Yugioh commons I tend to buy for around 1 to 4 cents each depending on how many of them I already have. For example, I have a lot of TAMA, ETCO etc. So these ones will only be bought at 1 cents each max. 

Uncommons: $0.001 (If they are from a much older set, it can be up to $0.05)

Rares: $0.01 (If they are from a much older set, it can be up to $0.10)

More than $2 and less than $10, we pay 10% of our website’s prices

More than $10 and less than $50, we pay 30% of our website’s prices (subject to checking against other pricing indicators)

 

More than $50, we pay 35% of our website’s prices (subject to checking against other pricing indicators)

 

Terms of condition:

 

  1. We reserve the right to change the terms of condition at any time.
  2. Please make sure that the cards are packed with enough cushion to avoid damage during transit. We will not be liable for any damages and we will price cards according to the condition received. Please do not use rubber band or tape to secure your cards.
  3. Please add your payment details, contact details (Name, DOB, phone number and/or email address) and return address (in case of returns). Please send the same details to my email address: tats@thatgamestore.com.au with the subject “Quick sell”
  4. You agree to pay for the shipping to and from (only for returns for change of mind but before processing of the cards)
  5. If for any reason, we must send the cards back and we do not receive a payment for the shipping for more than a month, you agree to donate the cards to us unless we agree to another arrangement.
  6. Once pricing is done, you agree that we pay directly to the nominated payment method and we will not be held responsible for errors, if any, in the payment method supplied. Please check your payment method before sending it to us. We may or may not double check it with you before sending the payment.
  7. For sums more than $1,000 or other unforeseen circumstances (such as receiving 100 shipments at once), you agree to a payment plan which will be discussed prior to the start of the payment plan.
  8. You agree for us to start putting the singles up on our website while processing the buy. This means that we may sell cards before payment is made. Hence, you must make sure you really want to sell your collection before sending it to us. If you want to know pricing before selling, please use the alternative route. This is for quick sell of your collection.
  9. You agree for any of our staff members to check with the police, social groups and any other sources for any information related to the cards to check for stolen goods. If the cards are suspected of being stolen, you agree for us to either send it to the police or held until a decision is made by any court. The court will then determine the fate of the cards.
  10. You agree for any of our staff members to check the credibility of yourself and any participating members of the sale and we reserve the right to reject the sale without any reason. You will then have to pay for the return shipping for the cards to be sent back.
  11. You agree to accept our expertise in pricing bulk cards and agree to pricing based on counting the number of cards, whether by hand or by weight. A list of cards will not be provided for this method as there will be none made.
  12. You agree to get into communication with us regarding any potential disagreements and to resolve them amicably.
  13. In the event that we get a large number of shipments, you agree to wait for a period of at least a month. After this time, we may contact you about how long you might be waiting for. If the duration is too long, please let us know immediately and send payment for the return postage and we will ship it back.
  14. You agree to not spam us with email or phone calls with regards to the buy.
  15. By sending your collection, you have agreed to all the above conditions.
